Studiowork '23

Since 2022, I learned how to create Etchings and screenprints  from a person working in our university's print studio. I dedicated myself to the process. It was nerve-racking. It's a technique that requires patience, empathy, and knowledge to understand how the chemical processes work. I am really grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from these two individuals. They hold a deep appreciation and sensitivity. Over time, as we spent more time together, I grew into those attributes.

I hold deep appreciation for each of the sheets I create. Every sheet of paper is carefully prepared. I’m slowing down, allowing myself to fully connect with my visions. Every stroke in the drawing is made with intention. It can only be set once on the metal plate.

The process is authentic and rare. These are my visions, etched into metal and brought to life through meticulously crafted prints. They represent a part of myself and everything that resonates with me.

see what I feel.
